By train

From Fiumicino Airoport take the Leonardo Express toward Rome Termini station.

From there, there are two options:

​

1) Take the line A metro and get off Valle Aurelia AT station, or line B metro until Ostiense. Then, take the Roma Ostiense - Viterbo Porta Romana train (every hour on weekdays).

2) Take the train to Orte (usually East platform). From there get the Bus COTRAL bus to Viterbo and get off at Porta del Carmine, or alternatively get a taxi (the fixed price is 40€).

By car

From the highway A1 exit at Orte, continuing on the Orte-Viterbo main road. Exit at Viterbo Nord. Go straight on towards the center, towards the medieval walls. Enter the town through Porta S. Pietro or Porta del Carmine. It is one way from Porta S. Pietro until the Medieval fountain in the square. Take the left, then the last road on the right. At the end of the road you will find the DISTU Department (Via San Carlo, 32).

From Porta del Carmine, once through the gate, take the first on the left and you will find the DISTU Department at the end.
